I love the milk tea which is full of tea flavour. Pan mee is delicious with wok aroma. Fried chicken is crunchy and crispy and the side sauce goes well with it. Hainanese chick rice is big portion; however the rice is a bit salty and the meat is not flavoursome. The service is alright. I think it is just different hospitality culture that makes some people think the lady at counter is unfriendly. The restaurant has an open kitchen making it smells very oily. Better for takeaway.

Great authentic Malaysian cuisine, always visit here since they still at Central Market. Char kuey toew and curry chicken was so tasty and got wokhey. But this new lactate shop was so small, only 5 tables and only can fix around 12-15 seats and was so busy at weekends night, probably need wait 20-40 mins for be seated.

Have some take aways and they are great. The place is quite small so takeaway is ideally, call them to order and pickup after 20mins. Great value (13 -16$/main) and generally good quality. Chicken rice is the best!!! Amazing flavour, very authentic and generous portion. 1 portion can nicely feed 2 ppl. The rice was nicely cooked, not too dry, not too soggy, the chicken was very juicy. A must!!! Beef satay is also very outstanding, one of the best satay I have ever had. Highly recommended!!! Char Koay Teow is flavorful and nice wok hei aroma but very oily ☹️ Laksa is ok, a bit lack of flavour, but the size is very generous too. Look forward to trying other things 🥰 ***Updated: Yes I tried the other things later. We have the shallot cakes, dry pan mee, dry wonton noodles, beef rendang (main serve) with coconut rice and nasi goreng (stir fried rice) They are all very very delicious, I like all of them, except for the beef randang (it was a bit too salty and the beef was crumbly, like, it was tender enough but kind of dry mouth feeling. The photos didn’t do their justice but they are all flavourful, full of food and cheap. Couldn’t ask for more ☺️☺️

Have been here for a few times. But the food quality is declining. Each time tastes different. First and second time was alright with the older male chef. The last time I went, the food was made by a younger male chef. No favours in the kway teow and my friend’s nasi goreng was different again when the first time like a normal fried rice then the second time tasted like fried rice with chilli and chopped tomato. Fried chicken is always good though. Big portions as well. Hope it tastes better.

My favourite chicken rice in Adelaide, fragrant rice, succulent chicken, truly delicious. You come here, get the chicken rice. Thanks

Located about 15 mins drive away on the northwest side of Adelaide CBD. Food average. About 10 to 20 seats with small tables there.
